Isahaya Shrine is located in Nagasaki Prefecture, and enshrines deities that serve as the protectors of Kyushu. Founded 1,300 years ago during the Nara period, the shrine has a long and profound history. It is also known as a powerful spiritual site, home to remarkable features such as: 🌿 Japan’s largest wooden statue of Amabie (a legendary yokai said to bring protection and good health) 🌳 A sacred camphor tree with deep spiritual significance ⛩️ A one-of-a-kind "Three-Pillar Torii" made of ceramic, found nowhere else in the world 📜 A diverse collection of unique Goshuin (shrine stamps) By connecting with the divine spirit of Isahaya Shrine, may you receive boundless blessings and protection. In Japan, Yōhai (遥拝) refers to the practice of worshiping a shrine from a distance.
